About Hinzman Law, PLLC
Hinzman Law, PLLC is veteran-owned and operated small business that brings a unique and personal approach to providing legal services. All services, both simple and complex, are handled personally, in-house, from start to finish by Attorney Robert W. Hinzman. This ensures the client that their personal matters get personal attention throughout the entire representation.
Attorney Robert W. Hinzman has over 25 years of criminal and civil investigative experience, with half of that time exclusively conducting fraud and white-collar investigations. These investigations centered around the rights and interests of private-citizen victims, businesses, and the taxpayers of West Virginia, not the criminal offender. His extensive experience and professional networks enable him to explore and pursue alternative methods of justice and recovery when other options have been exhausted or are not available. Prior to obtaining his law degree, he served in law enforcement and as a state fraud investigator, where he personally conducted a wide variety of complex and difficult investigations. There are few lawyers that offer this level of professional investigative experience with their services.
Robert is a 30-year veteran of the US Marines Corps Reserve, retiring at the rank of Sergeant Major. He holds a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the West Virginia University College of Law, a master’s degree in Forensic Accounting from the University of Charleston, and he is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE). He is bar admitted to practice law in WV, PA, and SC.
